As someone who loves Knausgaard's "My Struggle" series (and anxiously awaits the last part, due in English this year??), I enjoyed this book. He and another author are simply exchanging letters, as they watch (from two different locales) the World Cup soccer matches. I don't even care for soccer as a sport but this book still captivates. Seeing the game thru THEIR eyes, gave me a better appreciation of it. But it was all the tangential issues they both wrote about, and in such a personal way as befits 'personal letters', that really are enriching. As with his other books, you just feel like your own life is richer for having been given such intimate glimpses into someone else's life, no matter how different those lives are. If you like Knausgaard, you'll enjoy this book.
