I LOVE IT = 5 starsreally good game here, very much like XCOM. Many missions, I am maybe 50% through and have done about 50 missions. If you like XCOM turn based type games, this is really good. It can get boring, however, as mission after mission ends up being similar.Graphics are not bad. Many of the areas are kind of drab, since it is the world destroyed. Cars go boom and fire burns well. The sound is decent. Guns and grenades are good. The voice overs are ok, I dislike some of them but they are ok.I did run into a few bugs so far. Missions sometimes junk out and have to be repeated. Nothing major though, save files seem fine.There are four initial classes for the soldiers. They each have 10 levels and can usually choose from two different skills. These skills really make a difference. The Molotov grenade, for example, gives Berserker's a really good grenade that resets every few turns. Berserkers also get rocket launchers! Fighters have cover ground, which is a good skill, and at level 10 they can give cover ground to the whole squad. Cover Ground allows the soldier to shoot at moving targets during the enemy phase. Spiked Kids have a nice knife attack, a decent gun and extra accessory slots. Meanwhile Scouts are awesome snipers. There is at least one other class that has to be .unlocked but I will not spoil things.Enemies are very predictable. Skitters will charge as will Creepy Crawlies. Creepy Crawlies always scare me. Then there are the human types that shoot at you or, worse, throw grenades. And, of course, Mechs. There really are not a large variety of enemy types but they do have levels from 1 to 10. This game is not very hard, however.Research is fun! There are three resources, Food, Metal and Medical Supplies. All of them are needed to research cool new items. Like guns, ammunition types, accessory items and larger squad sizes. I love looking forward to new items to research and equip to the squad. Certain missions unlock new goodies to research.Trophies are really nice. There are 4 bronze, 9 silver, 7 gold and one platinum available. I think it is possible to get them all in one play through, will update when I finish the game. None of the trophies are hard to get.This is a pretty good budget XCOM clone. If you like the XCOM way of moving and firing, this is a good game. It is pretty long. One thing is that you need to finish all regular missions before going on a red critical mission. The red missions advance the story, however, when you complete them the missions you skipped will be replaced with different missions.Anyway, I hope this helps those on the fence about this game. While not necessarily a 5-star game it is fun and good..EDIT: I was not able to get all of the trophies. For some reason the game would not give three gold trophies I qualified for. Dunno. I was able to get all of the others. After you beat the last story mission the game just keeps going.
